There are plenty of fascinating places to visit in and around the Lands End peninsula.
St.Michael's Mount,Marazion, the 12th century former Benedictine Monastry is now National Trust property and can be visited on foot via the causeway or by boat at high tide .
Lands End and The Lizard Peninsula can easily be accessed by car. They are renowned for their magnificient granite coastline and have many golden sandy beaches.
St.Ives with its cobbled streets and quaint houses has always attracted artists and is now home to the Tate St.Ives Gallery and Barbara Hepworth Museum.
Day trips can be made to the Isles of Scilly either by helicopter, plane or
boat. Flights to Tresco and St.Marys take 20 minutes and the boat takes approx 2 hrs.
The Eden Project is 40 minutes by car as is Newquay, and coach trips are available if you want to leave the car behind.
Boat and fishing trips can be arranged from Penzance harbour.
